Responsibilities- Relate positively with young children and families
- Be passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow
- Love children and wish to work in a team-oriented environment
- Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
- Have knowledge and interest of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Have previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred, but not required as training provided
Child Focus is seeking a dedicated early childhood professional to serve as a Classroom Aide in a Preschool Classroom implementing a research-based curriculum. The Classroom Aide is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of a Preschool classroom with children ages 3-5. Child Focus has a Gold rating with Ohio's Step Up to Quality Program and provides high quality early childhood services.

Degree
Required:
High School Diploma/GED
Additional Requirements: Ability to lift a child weighing 40 pounds, and pass physical examination, background check, and drug screen. Ability to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid. Maintain required Physical/TB screen requirements.
