Role Impact and Accountability
The Analyst plays a critical role in driving value creation across assigned work streams. This position supports initiative development, monitors implementation progress, and contributes directly to PATAMI delivery in close partnership with workstream leaders and cross-functional teams.
PATAMI = Profit After Tax and Minority Interests.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation Planning & Value Creation
- Conduct diagnostic analyses of business value chains, processes, and financial drivers to identify performance gaps.
- Support and facilitate structured idea-generation workshops to identify value creation initiatives.
- Develop robust business cases including financial models, cost-benefit analyses, and sensitivity scenarios.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and quantify expected benefits.
- Monitor initiative milestones, timelines, and benefits realization.
- Provide analytical and execution support including dashboards, tools, and financial modeling.
- Identify delivery risks and support structured problem-solving.
- Coach teams in use of the WAVE program management system.
- Partner with Finance to track cash-in-bank realization.
- Support workstream leads in managing initiative portfolios.
- Facilitate Transformation Office cadence meetings.
- Provide analytical support to line managers.
- Coach site champions in transformation disciplines.
- Prepare and deliver updates to senior leadership and the shareholders.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or related analytical discipline.
- MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in transformation, strategy, consulting, financial analysis, or project management.
- Experience in manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or industrial environments preferred.
- Experience supporting senior leadership or board-level reporting preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx preferred.
- Ownership mindset with strong execution discipline.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence without authority.
- Results-oriented, proactive problem solver.
- Clear communicator across technical and executive audiences.
