Client Relationship Manager
The Strategic Client Leader serves as a central, holistic guide for key accounts and major projects—overseeing deliverables, partnerships, and the client’s long‑term strategic vision. This role acts as both the voice of the client within the agency and the voice of the agency with the client, ensuring clarity, alignment, and strong communication at every stage of the relationship.
As a core leader on the Experiences team, the Strategic Client Leader drives client and project leadership from start to finish, managing schedules, budgets, workflows, and team communication throughout the entire lifecycle—from concept and creative development through production, implementation, and beyond. This leader also plays an important role in identifying “day 2” and organic growth opportunities by making thoughtful, strategic recommendations that support the client’s broader business objectives and long‑term goals.
Working independently and collaboratively, the Strategic Client Leader supports the project team by:
- Serving as project leader and primary client point of contact on assigned accounts
- Developing and managing project schedules and budgets based on input from clients and creative teams
- Coordinating deliverables across creative, strategy, technical, and production partners to produce world‑class brand experiences
This role provides continuity from initial discovery through concepting, design, production, installation, and post‑opening evaluation—ensuring every phase is executed with clarity, intention, and excellence.
ResponsibilitiesClient Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service to strengthen relationships and increase satisfaction.
- Manage day‑to‑day client interactions and set clear expectations.
- Ensure clients understand deliverables, timelines, and progress toward project goals.
- Produce clear, concise, persuasive presentations and deliverables that meet project objectives.
- Communicate project health, risks, and mitigation plans proactively.
- Partner with clients and the Hyperquake production team to lead creative and technical vendor RFP processes.
- Collaborate with production on vendor oversight, including budget, logistics, and project requirements.
- Provide direct vendor supervision when appropriate based on project scale.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time through proactive coordination, risk management, and clear communication.
Client Relationships & Organic Growth
- Maintain strong client relationships and engagement even outside active project cycles.
- Establish annual organic growth goals with leadership and work toward achieving them.
- Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities by understanding client business goals and providing strategic recommendations.
- 5+ years of professional experience in experiential design project management, trade show, exhibit or event production, including creative production (video, theatre, tours, etc.), technical production or project management, budgeting and overall project logistics and coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with varying budget requirements in a non‑linear environment while maintaining control of resources, vendors and budget.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and client relationship building skills.
- Team player who possesses the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work within a large team environment.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism, courtesy and integrity.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace:
Docs, Sheets and Slides. - Experience with Teamwork project management software a plus.
- Ability to travel as required for client or project meetings and installations. For remote candidates, ability to travel as required to Hyperquake headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.
