Business Insights Partner – Cincinnati, Ohio (2 hours from the city)
OverviewYou will lead the business insights partnership between Acosta and our clients, delivering advanced, action‑driven analytical solutions that provide actionable insights, business solutions, and profitable recommendations. You will have a high‑level understanding of the sales drivers that affect clients and customers.
Responsibilities- Analyze complex data and provide proactive guidance and recommendations addressing the 4‑Ps (product, pricing, promotion, placement).
- Lead and direct the category review process through the 3‑call process while engaging cross‑functional teams to deliver a complete category management solution.
- Build compelling sales presentations using syndicated, shopper, and other data sources to analyze current business issues.
- Understand clients’ KPIs that drive profit & sales and deliver data reports to scorecards or validate progress.
- Work closely with clients and business managers, setting up regular meetings to become a trusted advisor.
- Provide follow‑up and summarize analysis results; create case studies and success stories.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Category Management certification preferred.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of related work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Solid working knowledge of the CPG industry.
- Preferred: knowledge of Kroger and its data systems (84.51 and Circa).
- Proficient in industry tools and Windows applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Advanced planning and solution delivery skills.
- Strong analytical ability to drive results from business challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Independent project management and execution of strategic objectives.
