Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding Cushnoc Group’s client base through proactive business development, relationship management, and strategic use of digital tools. This individual will leverage Salesforce, Linked In Navigator, and AI-enabled platforms to manage and enhance our pipeline of investor and executive contacts, converting them into client opportunities for fractional and interim leadership placements.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and optimize Cushnoc’s Salesforce CRM for accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and client engagements.
- Leverage existing investor and executive networks, including private equity, venture capital, and search funds, to develop new client opportunities.
- Execute targeted outreach campaigns using Linked In Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and AI prospecting tools.
- Conduct prospecting, qualifying, and closing activities to generate new business across fractional finance and operational roles.
- Coordinate discovery meetings between Cushnoc principals and prospective clients to assess needs and present tailored Cushnoc solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on proposal development, pricing, and customized service offerings.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with investors, portfolio companies, and executives.
- Represent Cushnoc Group at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
- Provide insights to leadership on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Implement AI-enabled tools and automation strategies to enhance efficiency in prospecting and outreach.
- Create reporting dashboards and monitor key sales performance metrics in Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, ideally in professional services, consulting, or executive staffing.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Linked In Navigator.
- Experience utilizing AI-enabled sales and marketing tools.
- Established network or experience working with private equity, venture capital, or search fund communities (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
