Detailer
The detail technician is responsible for cleaning, refurbishing, and preparing vehicles for display, delivery, and customer pickup. This includes both interior and exterior detailing, as well as basic cosmetic upkeep. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the dealership's image and customer satisfaction by ensuring every vehicle meets high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Ideal candidates take pride in their work, have strong attention to detail, and can work efficiently in team and independent settings.

- Perform thorough interior and exterior vehicle cleaning and detailing
- Wash, vacuum, polish, and wax vehicles using appropriate products and techniques
- Apply protective finishes such as sealants, tire shine, and interior treatments
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any imperfections or damage
- Maintain cleanliness of detailing bays, tools, and equipment
- Move vehicles safely between service areas, lots, and delivery zones
- Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures for quality and safety
- Assist with lot organization and basic upkeep as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in detailing, car washing, or vehicle reconditioning preferred (training available)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions preferred
- Familiarity with detailing tools and materials a plus
- Strong attention to detail and work quality
- Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and extended periods on your feet
- Time management and ability to work independently or with a team
- Customer-focused mindset and pride in presentation
- Safety awareness and proper chemical handling
- Indoor/outdoor setting in service areas and dealership lots
- Exposure to cleaning products, water, noise, dust, and weather elements
- Fast-paced, physically active environment requiring regular movement and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
