Work hours: Full time, 40 hours weekly

Salary: $19.03/hr

Requirements (Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification):

  • Ability to calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages and read/write common vocabulary.
  • One (1) course in office practice and procedures.
  • At least one month of experience or equivalent.

Essential Job Factors:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods lijst, bend, and stretch to do the work.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residency and required auto liability insurance.

  • Regular and punctual attendance required to perform the following essential functions.

File Room Duties:

  • Handle all case record material of a highly confidential nature for all consumers (active or closed) for all divisions.
  • File materials according to divisional protocols.
  • Pull records for Federal, State or County auditors and for agency and authorized County Personnel.
  • Utilize the State & Local computer applications (CRIS‑E/SETS/SACWIS/CDTS) for research, record tracking, and label/file manufacture.
  • Research records to determine retention status.
  • Shift large volumes of case records.
  • Assist staff with microfilm research or document imaging duties.
  • Prepare case records for computer imaging and operate high‑speed scanner.
  • Index (assign category) case records scanned into the document imaging system.
  • Box/log out/label imaged records for storage/disposal.
  • Assist with inventory control at the off‑site storage facility, deliveries and pick‑ups of records at JFS buildings and county facilities, and maintain statistical data as required.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned and participate in special projects.
  • Attend and participate in training, workshops and meetings to enhance individual skills, knowledge and job performance.
