Job Description Overview
Customer Support Specialist (CSS) position at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD). Supports Vocational Rehabilitation professionals and provides front desk, phone, mail, and administrative services.
Customer Support Specialist Duties- Provide coverage for the office phone and front desk, greet guests, maintain sign‑in/out sheets.
- Process, distribute, scan, and upload incoming mail; handle outgoing mail.
- Compose correspondence, request medical records, assist participants in signing documents using technology.
- Complete data entry and schedule intake meetings for people applying for OOD services.
- Provide ongoing case service and programmatic support through correspondence, follow‑up and reminder calls, support OOD Hiring Events, run reports.
- Delivers excellent customer service.
- Is time‑efficient, organized, and quality‑driven.
- Has the ability to multi‑task.
- Displays excellent communication skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Effectively utilizes office technology and tools.
- 1 year training or 1 year experience in secretarial science or business office applications.
- OR equivalent education and/or experience per Minimum Class Qualifications.
- Administrative Support/Services, Clerical & Data Entry, Computer Literacy, Customer Service, Professional, Scheduling, Customer Focus, Listening, Attention to Detail, Teamwork, Verbal Communication.
Starting salary $21.93 hourly; step progression after 6 months annual; cost‑of‑living increases each year.
