Join Perfection Group’s Accounting Team! Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to make an impact? Perfection Group is looking for an Accounting Intern to support our accounting team at our main office in Sharonville, OH
. This is your chance to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while gaining experience and exposure to many accounting practices.
The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team with day-to-day administrative and accounting functions. This internship provides hands‑on experience in accounts payable, cash applications, vendor management, and general accounting processes. The intern will work closely with experienced accounting professionals to gain practical knowledge of accounting systems and internal controls in a fast-paced business environment.
What You’ll Do Accounts Payable & Accounting Support- Assist with issuing purchase orders (POs) as needed
- Enter PO and non‑PO invoices into the accounting system
- Help research and resolve PO discrepancies
- Assist with expense reimbursement entry
- Support vendor setup and maintain W-9 documentation files
- Review incoming AP statements and assist with reconciliations
- Help prepare edits for check runs
- Assist with check runs (10th & 25th), including matching invoices to check stubs and filing
- Support cash receipt entry
- Assist with accounting software transition
- Assist with transferring inventory and tools to jobs and maintaining documentation
- Help enter inventory costs into Great Plains (Payable cost)
- Support documentation for tax‑exempt paperwork
- Provide general support to accounting team.
- Assist with maintaining building vendor files (e.g., service providers and inspections)
- Provide administrative backup support as needed
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Exposure to full‑cycle accounts payable processes
- Experience working within an ERP/accounting system (Great Plains)
- Understanding of internal controls and documentation procedures
- Collaboration with accounting and operations teams
- Development of professional communication and organizational skills
This is a full‑time internship based at our Cincinnati location.
Tentative dates for this position will be June 1–November 1. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate class schedules. This position offers valuable hands‑on experience in a professional accounting environment and the opportunity to develop practical skills that support future career growth in accounting or finance.
