We are assisting our well-established Commercial Construction client recruit for a Construction Accountant role. This company conveniently located in the Kenwood area and offers a great culture.
What You’ll Do:- Prepare monthly AR contract billings using AIA G702/G703 forms
- Manage Excel‑based billing templates and submit invoices through customer portals
- Complete supplemental billing documentation for project needs
- Support subcontractor digital billings through the Trimble Pay portal
- Process daily AP invoices and run weekly AP payments
- Reconcile AR/AP subledgers and assist with month‑end tasks
- Partner with the Controller, project managers, and subcontractors
- Adapt as needed within a lean, flexible, fast‑moving team
- 2+ years of accounting experience (construction helpful but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn multiple systems
- Someone proactive, dependable, and team‑oriented
