Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll support the preparation, analysis, and communication of key financial information and business metrics that help drive TQL’s continued growth. This role plays an important part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting month‑end activities, and contributing to process improvements across the accounting function. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally and gain exposure to a fast‑paced, growing organization with opportunities to develop your accounting skillset.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 1-2 years of professional experience or equivalent internships
• Experience with Oracle or another ERP system is a plus
• MBA or CPA is a plus
• You bring a strong work ethic and high attention to detail
• You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• You have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• You are organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Oracle or another ERP system is a plus

• Process property‑related transactions, including monthly office rent and annual operating expense reconciliations
• Record journal entries for prepaid and deferred rent and other operating expense accruals
• Reconcile related balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple payment methods
• Analyze variances and partner cross‑functionally to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Support the adoption of new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and streamline accounting processes
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
