Sr. Accountant

Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) team. This is a full-time role where you'll become a valued member of our core professional staff, supporting critical projects and interim accounting needs for our diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

+ Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

+ Support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis

+ Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with internal controls

+ Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting support as needed

+ Assist with regulatory compliance, tax filings, and process improvement initiatives

+ Collaborate with client teams to address ad hoc accounting and reporting needs

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- At least 3-5 years of detail-oriented accounting experience, preferably within corporate or public accounting.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Strong knowledge of accounting software, including SAP, Oracle, and Net Suite.

- Comprehensive understanding of general ledger systems and internal controls.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to perform detailed variance analysis and contribute to forecasting initiatives.

- Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
