Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Description

Our team is seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join as a full-time engagement professional for one of our valued clients. This permanent position offers the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of exciting projects and support dynamic accounting operations as a member of a leading finance and accounting team.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

+ Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

+ Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts

+ Support preparation of financial statements and relevant management reports

+ Participate in audit support and internal controls review

+ Assist with account variance analysis and process improvements

+ Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

+ 2+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred

+ Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team

+ High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
