Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting and financial management while working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Utilize Sage Intacct software to record and monitor financial activities.

- Prepare and post journal entries to support the accuracy of the general ledger.

- Maintain the general ledger by ensuring all financial data is correctly categorized and updated.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

- Generate and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

- Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to financial transactions.

- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.

- Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.

- Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Experience in performing bank reconciliations with attention to detail.

- Knowledge of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
