Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with 2-3 years of professional accounting experience. This role involves supporting the finance team in managing daily accounting tasks, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end close processes. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

+ Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions.

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

+ Maintain and update accounting records and files in compliance with company policies.

+ Participate in internal and external audits by providing requested schedules and documentation.

+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to best practices within the department.

+ Collaborate with other departments to support financial analysis and budgeting efforts.

+ Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate environment.

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.

+ Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

+ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.

+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
