Staff Accountant

Job Description

The Staff Accountant prepares and analyzes assigned financial reports utilizing basic accounting principles. Maintains accurate records in preparations for audit requirements. This position is responsible for completing their assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy. Collaborates with other teams to support future financial planning.

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field (Required)
• 1 - 2 Years Experience Professional In Accounting (Required)
• Knowledge of general ledger
• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Payroll
• Capital assets
• Financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Completes daily, weekly, monthly tasks as assigned with a high level of accuracy by established due dates. Ensures that defined processes and procedures are being adhered to.
• Prepares and analyzes assigned financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Maintains accurate records of assigned task through monthly reconciliations in preparation for audit requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional team to fulfill all operational demands.
