Staff Accountant

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support a range of accounting operations, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities to ensure compliance and accuracy. You will also participate in month-end close processes and work closely with different departments to improve financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking activities.

+ Prepare and record journal entries with thorough supporting documentation.

+ Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy each month.

+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing to deliver timely and accurate financial reports.

+ Support audit activities, compliance reporting, and financial statement preparation.

+ Maintain records for fixed assets and assist with depreciation calculations.

+ Contribute to budgeting and forecasting by gathering and analyzing financial data.

+ Collaborate with teams across the organization to resolve accounting-related issues.

+ Identify and recommend process improvements and support automation efforts to drive efficiency.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a medium to large organization.

- Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting software systems.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical abilities.

- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate across teams.
