This role involves managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring accurate, timely reporting, supporting audits, and mentoring staff, all while upholding our core values:

• Lead general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and month/year‑end closings.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including HUD.
• Support audits and ensure strong internal controls.
• Guide budgeting and financial planning efforts.
• Mentor staff and contribute to process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with public housing financial regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of experience, including 2+ in a senior‑level role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and Excel proficiency.
• Experience in government or nonprofit finance a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
