Tax Associate

Overview

Join Tax Associate at H&R Block to support clients with accurate tax returns while growing in a collaborative, high‑performing culture.

• Conduct in‑person and virtual tax interviews via video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare and file complete, accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
