Responsibilities :

• Monitor, operate and adjust parameter on DCS to meet target operation by following SOPs for several unit such as Boilers, Steam System, Water Treatment (WT), Wastewater Treatment (WWT), Cooling Water, Firefighting, Plant Air System, Fuel Gas System.
• Coordinate with SSV for adjusting operation parameter to meet daily target operation
• Addressing alarms, deviation and emergency conditions and taking corrective action to maintain safe and reliable operations
• Collaborate with SSV, field operator and maintenance for any activities on the field
• Documenting operational data, production rates, equipment performance, and any incidents or deviations from normal operations in logbooks (Board operator check list)
• Participating in process optimization and efficiency improvement projects, suggesting improvements, and implementing best practices to enhance plant performance.
• Monitor CCTV for Utility area and coordinate with field operator
• Monitor Lab Result and adjust parameter accordingly refer area wise
• Communicate with Board Operator in the other plant regarding plant operational condition if there are changes to make sure the alignment of operation process between plants.
• Arrange product movement activities, safety and efficient to ensure compliance with SOP.

Qualifications :

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Other relevant engineering backgrounds are welcome.
• Have experience min 4 years as Board Operator / DCS
• Min 3 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in chemical or petrochemical industries (experience in chlor-alkali plant is an advantage).
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good in English skills both spoken and written
