Senior Finance Manager

• Oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to senior management.
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis against budget and forecast, providing insightful commentary and recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and identify areas for optimization within the manufacturing process.
• Manage cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate costing of goods sold and providing analysis of production costs.
• Oversee inventory accounting and management, ensuring accurate valuation and control of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or local GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial support and analysis for capital expenditure projects and other strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments, including operations, sales, and procurement, to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Mentor and develop finance team members (if applicable).
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with demonstrable experience in a leadership capacity.
• Strong prior experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Deep understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management practices.
• Proven ability to develop and manage budgets and forecasts effectively.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• Strong understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strategic thinking with a strong operational focus and a business-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Additional relevant certifications (e.g., CMA) will be considered a strong asset.
