Stabilization Behavior Technician

Overview

The Stabilization Home Behavior Technician (SHBT) provides direct behavioral and medical support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring psychiatric or behavioral conditions residing in a Short- or Long-Term Stabilization Home (SSH). This home serves individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs, including those requiring insulin management and enteral feeding supports. The RBT works under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and in collaboration with nursing and clinical teams to deliver individualized, evidence-based care that promotes stabilization, safety, and community reintegration.

• Provide direct behavioral and medical support to adults with IDD and co-occurring psychiatric or behavioral conditions in Stabilization Home settings.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams and work under supervision of a BCBA to deliver individualized, evidence-based care that promotes stabilization, safety, and community reintegration.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, nursing, or related human services field preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet background and health clearance requirements under Illinois DHS Rule 116.

Salary: $24.00 - $25.50 per hour
