Overview
Little Horsted CE Primary School is seeking to appoint an Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to work in Key Stage 2. The role is part-time, term-time only, Monday to Friday, 12:45 - 3:30pm, starting as soon as possible.
Job detailsHours of work: 13.75 hours per week
Working pattern:
Part-time, term-time only working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years continuous service. As the position is part-time/term-time, the salary will be pro rata. Fixed term for: 6 months with an option to extend for a further year.

The Governors are seeking an INA who has a good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and experience of working with children within that age range. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and will be able to demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, resilience, and a commitment to ensuring every child succeeds.
Requirementsand qualifications
- Prospective candidates should have a level 2 qualification or above, relevant experience and a good working knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures and policies essential in an education setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection in schools.
