KS2 Class Teacher; Fletching of England Primary School

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and creative teacher to join our successful and friendly primary school just outside Uckfield. This role is full-time and fixed until 31 August 2026, with a start date from February, teaching a Year 2, 3 and 4 class. It’s a wonderful opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where you can make a real difference.

We warmly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and will provide a comprehensive induction, mentoring, and ongoing professional development to support your success.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and understand the role of assessment in securing progress.
• Have experience working within KS1 or KS2 (although this is not essential for ECTs).
• Be passionate about providing high-quality learning opportunities.
• Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
• Show a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
• Demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Support and contribute to the ethos of our school.
