Teaching Assistant — Christ Church Academy
Christ Church Academy is a middle school in Stone that educates children aged 9-13. The Governors wish to appoint a vibrant and energetic Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with learning difficulties as well as youngsters who have physical disabilities/medical need or who are finding it difficult to cope with the everyday rigours of school life.
ResponsibilitiesQualification desirable include NNEB, NVQ3 or City & Guilds 73202 or 7327. However candidates with other relevant experience of working with children are welcome to apply.
Additional InformationOfsted (2022) state that pupils thrive and behaviour is good. They also state that the school provides good care and support for pupils with SEND.
A willingness to provide emergency first aid cover would be beneficial, for which training could be provided.

The normal place of work would be Christ Church Academy. This Academy is part of ‘The Key Educational Trust’ and the Trust reserves the right to deploy the successful candidate to work at any other Academy within the Trust.
