Grade 6 – FTE £28,792 - £31,022 (actual £20,067 - £21,621). Term‑time only, 30 hours per week, 8:30am – 3:00pm.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary phase at St Mark’s, an all‑through school in Southampton. This is a great opportunity to connect directly with students, helping them to get the very best from their education.

St Mark’s opened its secondary phase in 2022 and has achieved a rating of “good” by Ofsted. The school is highly oversubscribed and values inclusivity, diversity, and raising aspirations for every child.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering the curriculum and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with staff across all age groups to help students achieve their potential.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively with children, staff and parents, and be well‑organised and hard‑working.
