Job Overview
School Bus Attendant – Chula Vista Elementary School District, Chula Vista, CA
ResponsibilitiesUnder the general supervision of the Transportation Director, designee, and/or assigned school bus driver, the attendant:
- Assists in the care and supervision of pupils with and without disabilities
- Assists pupils in boarding and exiting the school bus
- Ensures the safety of pupils and maintains appropriate order and conduct on the bus
- Provides assistance with pupils’ healthcare issues
- Works as a team with the driver in the delivery of services
- Performs other duties as assigned
