Program:

SBCS Corporation operates a 24/7 year-round confidential, emergency shelter program for victims of domestic violence and their children. Services include 24-hour emergency shelter, food, transportation, 24-hour crisis hotline, psychological support and peer counseling, referrals to community resources, and community education and outreach. The program also provides transitional housing, rapid rehousing, and other housing support for victims of domestic violence and their children.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Family Violence & Shelter Support Services Clinician under the supervision of the Program and Department Director is responsible for providing services to SBCS’ clients and the community. Services will be in keeping with agency goals, objectives, mission, and style and provided within a team framework. Clinician provides counseling services to clients in the Family Violence Support Services and Shelter programs and assist with supporting the program’s student interns.
