As a Security Officer - Shelter Patrol in Chula Vista, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, assist staff and visitors with professionalism, and document observations.

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions that may impact people, property, and/or operations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, lobbies, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, observe for suspicious activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations through presence and patrol.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and elevate concerns per post orders.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
