About The ARCThe Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no‑fee program to assist men and women in completing our rehabilitation program. The organization relies on the diligence and devotion of its employees to maintain and strengthen the programs.
About Our Retail TeamJoin the dedicated Retail Team at The Salvation Army. This position supports the Santee Thrift Store and the Adult Rehabilitation Program, promoting a positive shopping and donor experience, improving customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork to contribute to the Program and its participants.

Donation Attendant
Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):
- Maintain and clean the donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift
- Assist donors with receipt of donated items and provide receipts
- Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor
- Sort donated materials into proper containers and stack materials as instructed
- Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed
- Inform supervisor of needed items before running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts)
- Secure and lock the donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist as required
- Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects such as files, carts, racks, and fixtures
- Ability to move product up to 75 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Stores operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by management. Flexibility is required to ensure adequate store coverage. Full-time associates may be scheduled for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and ExperienceEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
