Position Summary
The Life Cafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the Life Cafe. They deliver a high‑quality experience to the members, motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service, and monitor food quality and speed of service to ensure a positive member and guest experience.
Job Duties And Responsibilities- Manage Life Cafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow.
- Act as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support.
- Ensure team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers in a professional manner.
- Provide promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the manager.
- Manage light food prep responsibilities.
- Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments, and concerns.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
- Serve Safe certification within the first 60 days of hire.
- Ability to routinely bend and lift more than 20 lbs.
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods.
- Night and weekend availability required based on business needs.
- 1‑2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high‑volume environment.
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $20.50 and paying up to $24.00, based on experience and qualifications.
