Hilton San Diego Bayfront is looking to add a dynamic Event Coordinator to their team.
- To organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals.
- Provide timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and greet clients for events in a professional, courteous manner.
- Input programs in booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements, and coordinate site visits.
- Create and communicate documents including but not limited to BEOs, group resumes, post-event reports, menus, diagrams/floor plans.
- Work with affiliate groups.
- Assist clients and deliver on their expectations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes.
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solution for the client.
- Ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs.
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
- Other duties as necessary based on business needs.
- Regular attendance.
- At least six (6) months of administrative experience is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations is highly desired.
- Experience with Delphi is a plus.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Hourly Rate Range: The Hourly Rate Range for this role is $27.45 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
