Joining H&R Block as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional means you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training you’ll need to be successful.

• As you inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, you’ll build client relationships that will grow stronger every year.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools — video, phone, chat, or email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services;
  Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.

• Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment (or equivalent).
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax; experience selling or marketing is a plus.
• Experience completing individual returns; experience with complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) preferred.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and using virtual tools (video, phone, chat).
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs described by local policy.
