We have an immediate opening for a License Project Engineer at our aerospace location in Chula Vista, CA. The primary focus of this role is to provide technical support for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Aerostructures nacelle products.

• Regular interface and problem resolution with both technical and commercial personnel.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Possess the ability to draft succinct and articulate correspondence when responding to technical inquiries.
• Create & maintain cases within CRM on a daily basis keeping up to date notes on case status.
• Ability to develop high quality technical documents with minimal turnback.
• Provide input for tool designs/revisions.
• Revise repair/tooling catalogs.
• Develop/monitor performance metrics, including data collection.
• Gather product reliability data.
• Ensure that company maintains contractual compliance and protects company intellectual property.
• Work independently while obtaining support and information from a wide range of internal and external counterparts.
• Support the continuous improvement of internal processes.

• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in STEM.
• At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering environment, aerospace preferred.
• Intermediate experience with CATIA V5.
• Experience creating 2‑D drawings and GD&T.
• Intermediate experience with MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Teamcenter of similar product lifecycle management database.
• Experience in creating/updating standard work.

Pay Range: $76,000 to $78,000 Per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

This role is considered an on-site position located in Chula Vista, CA.

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, No travel is required.
