Job Summary:

As Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for customers arriving at the dealership. Your role is to create a welcoming atmosphere, assist customers with their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate departments or sales representatives. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience and ensuring a positive impression of the dealership.

Essential Functions
  • Greet customers warmly upon arrival at the dealership. Provide a friendly and professional first impression to create a welcoming environment.
  • Assist customers with initial inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments, such as sales, service, or finance. Answer basic questions and provide information about the dealership’s services and inventory.
  • Verify and confirm customer appointments for vehicle sales, service, or maintenance. Ensure that customers are promptly checked in and directed to their scheduled appointments.
  • Manage the flow of visitors in the dealership, ensuring they are promptly attended to and directed to the appropriate personnel or area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting area for customers. Ensure that refreshments, magazines, and other amenities are available and replenished as needed.
  • Handle phone calls and emails from customers, providing information and scheduling appointments as needed. Forward inquiries to relevant departments or personnel when necessary.
  • Collect and document customer feedback to help identify areas for improvement in the customer experience. Report any concerns or issues to management.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining customer records. Support the sales and service teams with additional duties as needed.
  • Ensure that all customer interactions comply with dealership policies and procedures. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
  • Monitor the new and used car lot to manage the traffic and ensure every guest is being assisted.
  • Document every customer visit as either a Walk-in, Be-Back or Appointment.
  • Serves as Phone Receptionist during each shift providing telephone coverage.
  • Must be willing to work outside during all types of weather.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

  • Frequently stands, walks, sits; uses hands; frequently reaches with hands and arms; frequently talks and hears.
  • Occasionally climbs or balances; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, squats or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 15 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
