We are Aaron’s—an industry leader in the sales and lease‑to‑own retail industry. This role focuses on driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals while building strong customer relationships.
Salary
: $X to $Y per hour/annually*.
Incentive pay is also available based on performance.
- Maintain and update customer accounts in the store computer system and document all payment appointments.
- Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
- Sell the benefits of timely lease renewal payments.
- Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
- Assist with merchandise returns, guest deliveries, and quality assurance of returned items.
- Maintain and update weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and daily route sheets.
- Load, secure, and protect product in the company vehicle; safely operate the vehicle.
- Provide support to the sales team as needed.
- Perform any reasonable duties requested by management.
- Minimum age of 21 with a valid U.S. driver’s license (or 18 in Canada) and compliant MVR per the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy.
- Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states.
- Availability to work an irregular schedule ranging from 8 am to 9 pm.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs without help and up to 300 lbs with a dolly.
- Preferred: two years of retail/customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high energy, telephone etiquette, and strong organizational, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to maintain a professional appearance.
