SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
Keep a safe work environment, and work in a safe manner. Perform a variety of machine assembly operations working from engineering drawings and specifications. Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills on the job. Train customer employees on fundamental operation and maintenance procedures for ESS equipment. Meet ESS Technologies quality standards while maintaining working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficient in the use of all hand tools including but not limited to saws, drills and taps.
- Work as a team in the Assembly function.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the assembly team and its functions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly desired
- Machine shop equipment and/or machining methods and blueprint reading experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Skills:
- Ability to operate a computer.
