APP (NP or PA) – Specialty Practice – Psychiatry

Carilion Clinic is hiring a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider to work in our Psychiatry unit ans Hospital, 2900 Lamb Cir – Christiansburg, VA. The position is open to PMHNPs, FNPs and PAs and involves 12‑hour shifts from 7am to 7pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The unit features a 36‑bed inpatient service and a growing outpatient program, and the app will report to the Section Chief and work within a behavioral health team.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Experience: 0 years.
• Licensure/Certification: Current LNP, DEA license, RN license, AHA BLS‑HCP certification. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
• Other: Ability to collaborate with physicians and other health‑care providers, strong written and oral communication skills, and computer literacy for electronic medical records.
