Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist roles or related specialties
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

• Experience with emergent gynecological cases
• Familiarity with Level 3B NICU protocols
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience
• Knowledge of hospital systems and electronic medical records

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
• Licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NRP

• Availability to start on 02/01/2026
• Shift coverage during weekends
• Willingness to work with a team providing backup support to hospitalists, OBs, General Surgeons, and ER physicians
• Compensation: $214.50 per hour
• Commitment to providing emergent gynecologic care and supporting hospital OB services
• Travel and licensure reimbursement, paid sick time, comprehensive medical benefits, and weekly pay via direct deposit
