Position: RADIATOR REPAIRER/TECHNICIAN

Radiator Repairer/Technician

Are you a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys technical problem-solving within a strong team culture? A1 is looking for an experienced Radiator Repairer/Technician to join our growing Service Department. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cooling systems to the highest professional standards. Your day‑to‑day tasks will involve working in our workshop to ensure customers receive reliable service, manufacturing new radiators and heaters for both modern and vintage vehicles, and fitting various components to a wide range of cars.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in radiator repair and strong diagnostic skills. You should demonstrate a high standard of workmanship, a professional attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to promoting A1’s core values are also essential. Qualified Automotive Technician

We are currently looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our busy, well‑established workshop in Motueka. We carry out a wide range of work including diagnostics, repairs, WoF inspections and servicing, so this role will suit someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (no weekends). Key Responsibilities include vehicle diagnostics and fault finding, mechanical repairs and maintenance, Warrant of Fitness (WoF) inspections, routine servicing and working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work.

You will need to have a trade‑qualified Automotive Technician, be reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team, have strong practical and problem‑solving skills. A WoF authority preferred (or willingness to obtain). You will need to have a full NZ driver licence. We offer a supportive, down‑to‑earth team environment, consistent weekday hours, a well‑equipped workshop and steady workflow at a respected local business with a loyal customer base.

Mike Jackson Vehicle Servicing are currently seeking a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our small friendly team. We are based in Henderson, West Auckland. The successful applicant must be capable in all aspects of servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and general repairs of all marques of European and Japanese cars. Warrant of Fitness Authority is advantageous but not essential. You must be able to work in a team and on your own initiative.
