37 hour working week - Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:00 - Friday 07:30-12:30

We're recruiting for a skilled CNC Head Machinist to join a well-established engineering business based in Christchurch, Dorset. This is a great opportunity to work with modern Citizen machinery in a stable, full-time position with a strong work-life balance and early finishes every Friday.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

Programming, setting and operating Citizen sliding head machines

Producing high-precision components to engineering drawings

Working on Citizen M32 and Citizen K16 machines

Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards

Supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor

What we're looking for

To be successful as a CNC Head Machinist, you'll ideally have:

Experience with Citizen sliding head machines

Programming, setting and operating experience (or strong setting/operator background)

A good understanding of precision engineering and tolerances

A proactive and reliable approach to work
