** As a Senior Pavement Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our pavement design, materials, construction, and rehabilitation projects. From field assessments and investigations to design, training, technical support and post-construction evaluation, you will focus every aspect of completing successful pavement projects.
** In addition to the above you will:
*** Deliver fit-for-purpose design solutions across diverse projects
* Continuously improve our maintenance and construction practices
* Drive tendering processes, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions
* Carry out field inspections to assess pavement integrity and performance
* Provide construction phase support, ensuring technical excellence
* Promote our team’s capability both internally and externally
* Be a champion of safety, always leading with a "Living Safely" mindset

** We’re looking for someone with:
*** Tertiary qualification in engineering (or related discipline), or specialisation in pavement engineering
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pavement design, investigation, testing including sustainability and innovation.
* Solid understanding of pavement engineering principles, Austroads guidelines, and asset management life cycle of pavements and surfacing
* Experience in Circly, Rubicon Toolbox, APSDS and HIPAVE.
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng NZ), or working toward being chartered
