Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (6 - 9 months, with potential for extension)
Pay Range: $77.31 - $79.31 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health services in a correctional healthcare setting located in Chowchilla, CA. This is a full-time contract opportunity with the potential for extension or transition to a permanent state position with full benefits, depending on availability.

• Serve as clinician-of-the-day during scheduled workdays for patient emergencies
• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and gather patient histories
• Identify behavioral health diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans
• Apply advanced clinical knowledge to plan and implement patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress
• Respond promptly to patient calls and manage referral follow-ups
• Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other specialists to ensure holistic care
• Provide high-quality mental health care across a diverse population

• Experience: Minimum 12 months of direct patient care within the last 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting
• Licensure: Active California LCSW license (hard copy required)
• BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Identification: Valid photo , Driver's License, or Passport
