Physical Therapist - Chowchilla, CA

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Correctional Facility, Chowchilla, California
Pay Rate: $69.25 to $71.25 per hour
Schedule: Full-time contract for 6 to 9 months, eligible for extension

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 continuous months of experience within the last 3 years providing direct patient care in a public or private healthcare setting
• Valid California Physical Therapy license (hard copy required)
• Valid government-issued photo  (Drivers License or Passport)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current clinical competencies aligned with physical therapy standards

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Physical Therapy services in accordance with CDCR policies, institutional procedures, and accepted evidence-based practices
• Provide therapy upon physician referral and written order
• Deliver services through direct access when appropriate, based on an existing documented diagnosis
• Maintain thorough documentation of care and follow facility standards
• Work collaboratively with medical staff and other institutional personnel to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery
