Are you an experienced Food Manufacturing Shift Manager looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting for a dynamic and hands-on Night Shift Production Manager to lead operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment in Chorley.

This is a pivotal role, responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and team performance.

• Supervise and coordinate production staff to achieve shift targets

• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, BRC, and ISO
  9001 standards

• Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement

• Troubleshoot operational issues and minimise downtime

• Oversee machinery performance and coordinate maintenance when required

• Manage labour effectively to optimise productivity

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing night shift team

• Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready production environment

• Essential:
  Experience with in the Food Manufacturing sector

• Proven experience in a supervisory/management role within manufacturing

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Knowledge of BRC and ISO
  9001 standards

• Excellent problem-solving ability

• Experience managing production machinery and maintenance coordination

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Meet or exceed production targets

• Minimise waste and maximise efficiency

• Ensure smooth shift handovers

• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards

• Develop a motivated, skilled production team

• £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
