Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a CNC Supervisor Setter for our prestigious manufacturing client in the Chorley area.

£32,708.00 - £38,480.00 DOE.

• Overtime – Time & Half
• Day Shift
• Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 & Friday 08:00 – 13:00
• 37 Hours

• CNC Supervisor or Team Leader experience
• Able to lead, guide and mentor a team in the CNC machine shop
• Able to be trained on new CNC programs
• Set and operate CNC machines
• Change CNC tools
• Work to tight tolerances
• Able to use micrometers and vernier callipers
• Able to read technical engineering drawings
• Able to work to specifications
• Hands‑on approach to the operation
• Perform calibration and quality inspection
• Computer literate
• Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with safety standards
• Previous experience of working in a fast‑paced engineering environment

This role is suited for a CNC Supervisor Setter who wants to lead a team in a busy CNC workshop, be hands‑on with the operation and support with manufacturing components. You’ll need to set milling machines & lathes and be able to read technical engineering drawings. Working to tight tolerances is required and you’ll need to perform quality checks on components.

The right candidate will be hands‑on, have the experience / knowledge required, be able to guide & mentor a team and want to progress in a forward‑thinking company.
