Care Home Manager
Location: Beeches Care Home, Coppull, Chorley, PR7 5AH
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) +
performance-related bonus of up to 20% of annual salary + £2,000 welcome bonus (payable upon successful completion of probation for candidates applying directly).
Beeches Care Home is seeking a Care Home Manager to lead our 39-bed nursing home in Coppull, Chorley. Rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in July 2025, the home delivers high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care and benefits from a strong and well‑established reputation within the local community.
The successful candidate will lead an established service, supported by an experienced Clinical Lead and our central Quality and Operations teams.
This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Home Manager or an ambitious Deputy Nurse Manager who is ready to progress into their first Registered Manager position.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong, assertive, visible and effective leadership across the home.
- Champion person‑centred care, acting as a role model for excellence and ensuring all legal, regulatory and best practice standards are consistently met.
- Maintain high occupancy levels by building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and other key external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services.
- Recruit, lead, develop and retain a high‑performing and motivated workforce.
- Be accountable for the home’s financial performance, including budget management, cost control and delivery of agreed financial targets.
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Nurse Manager.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks within adult social care.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Confidence and competence in the use of IT systems and technology.
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager of services rated Good or Outstanding by the CQC.
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
