Asbestos Bulk Analyst; P401

The Role

We are looking for a qualified BOHS P401 Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting the laboratory’s daily operations, ensuring accurate analysis and reporting of bulk asbestos samples in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out bulk asbestos sample preparation and analysis using microscopy techniques
• Identify asbestos fibres and record results accurately
• Ensure work is completed in line with UKAS / ISO 17025 principles (where applicable)
• Maintain accurate records, worksheets, and reporting documentation
• Follow laboratory procedures and health & safety requirements at all times
• Support quality control checks and participate in continuous improvement
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory workspace

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in asbestos bulk analysis (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional approach with a commitment to high standards
