Job Summary

We are recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers to join a high‑quality residential care service supporting adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Senior Support Worker looking to develop their career in adult social care and supported living.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Worker, you will:

Deliver personal care in line with individual support plans
Assist with daily living including bathing, dressing, meal prep
Lead Support Workers and ensure safe, effective shift management
Promote independence and support individuals to meet personal goals
Uphold safeguarding standards and follow all policies
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Work collaboratively with families, professionals and the care team
Support managers in ensuring high standards of care

Requirements

Previous experience in residential care or supported living
Experience leading teams in learning disability or complex needs services
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
Flexible to work on a rolling rota including weekends and on‑call
Ideally a car driverBenefits

£14.46 per hour (without NVQ) / £15.40 per hour (with NVQ Level
3)
