Night Care Assistant

Location: Astley View, Chorley

Salary: £13.45 per hour with overtime paid at £14.95 per hour, equivalent £26,926 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8pm‑8am shifts on a two‑week rolling rota:

• Week 1:
  Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2:
  Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About the Role: Evermore Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant (Nights) to join the team at Astley View, our state‑of‑the‑art, purpose‑built, luxury care home in Chorley. You will play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment across our brand new community. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team, with plenty of opportunity for development.

• Annual leave starts at the statutory minimum, with extra days rewarded at 2 and 5 years’ service

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

• Previous experience (either personal or work‑based) within adult social care
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
